Cookies Chocolate Chip Cookies!
This recipe is plant-based, so it is safe for some allergies! But feel free to substitute any of the ingredients for your own diet preferences! :)
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 2.5 tablespoons of water
- 1 stick or 1/2 cup of plant-based butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
How to make them!
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Mix the water into the ground flaxseed, then set aside.
- In large mixing bowl, add the brown sugar, and softened butter. Mix until blended.
- Add the flaxseed mixture, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix again until combined.
- Add flour, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch to the mixture. Mix again until combined.
- Add the chocolate chips. Mix with spoon until evenly combined.
- Now you’re ready to shape the cookies!
- Make small balls (around the size of 1-2 tbsp each) of cookie dough, and place them on a baking sheet! We didn’t grease the baking sheet, but that is optional!
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- WOW! Cookies are done, now let them cool!
- After they’re cooled off, enjoy your delicious creation!
