Cookies Chocolate Chip Cookies!

This recipe is plant-based, so it is safe for some allergies! But feel free to substitute any of the ingredients for your own diet preferences! :)


Ingredients: 

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 2.5 tablespoons of water 
  • 1 stick or 1/2 cup of plant-based butter 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
  • 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar 
  • 1 1/2 cups flour 
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch 
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips


How to make them!
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the water into the ground flaxseed, then set aside. 
  3. In large mixing bowl, add the brown sugar, and softened butter. Mix until blended.
  4. Add the flaxseed mixture, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix again until combined.
  5. Add flour, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch to the mixture. Mix again until combined.
  6. Add the chocolate chips. Mix with spoon until evenly combined. 
  7. Now you’re ready to shape the cookies!
  8. Make small balls (around the size of 1-2 tbsp each) of cookie dough, and place them on a baking sheet! We didn’t grease the baking sheet, but that is optional! 
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  10. WOW! Cookies are done, now let them cool!
  11. After they’re cooled off, enjoy your delicious creation!
